Anyone who has eaten at a busy restaurant on a Saturday night has seen it: every table full, a waiter carrying five orders in their head, handwritten order slips tucked under a steel tumbler at the pass, and someone at table six waving for “ek paani, please” for the third time.

When the price of paneer went up, the printed menus got a correction in blue pen. When a dish ran out, guests found out only after ordering it. And at the end of the night, nobody could say which dishes had actually sold, or why the 8 pm rush always felt like chaos.

Our founder, Deepankar Gautam, went looking for something better. The options were either big POS systems that cost lakhs and needed days of training, or “QR menus” that were just a PDF on a phone. Nothing was built for the everyday restaurant that simply wanted calmer service.

So in 2026 we started building Dinapse in Hyderabad, and that's where our first restaurants are. The idea is simple: guests order together from their phones, the kitchen sees every order the moment it's sent, and the waiters can finally stop running. That's the test for every feature we ship: does it make a busy night calmer?

Our mission is to give every restaurant, from a ten-table café to a busy family restaurant, the kind of tools only big chains used to have, at a price that makes sense where they are.
